Lynn MA is known for its annual events. Here is a list of just some of the many celebrations that take place each year in East Lynn:
Windshield Replacement Lynn MA
*Celebrate Jamaica Day, which takes place on August 17th (this event was started by Lynndale Avenue residents)
A variety of activities are planned including food and craft vendors, live music all day long, Zumba Fitness demonstrations from 11am to 12pm with Vonda Williams-Hines as instructor), rum tasting at noon courtesy of Mount Gay Rum Company among other attractions.
This celebration is free and open to the public!
*Eastside Festival; this festival celebrates Black culture throughout New England with family friendly art exhibits, documentary screenings, lectures about social justice issues and more. The festival takes place at the Pilgrim Congregational Church of East Boston.
*The Festival de la Gente Latina is also hosted by this neighborhood each year. This event celebrates Latino culture and heritage with family friendly activities including live music, dance performances, community booths for information about living healthy in a multiethnic society and other attractions!
*Annual Lynn Arts Day; this daylong event features different stages featuring musical entertainment of many genres as well as literary readings! It’s free admission and there are plenty of good eats available too so you won’t go hungry throughout your visit!
