The Belle Oaks Villas neighborhood has a few events planned for the coming year. Local residents will get together to celebrate Earth Day on Sunday April 22nd with activities like planting trees and making bird feeders as well as eco-friendly arts and crafts.
There is also an annual carnival that takes place at the end of July, which features rides, games, food vendors and live entertainment. The event was created in 2001 after Hurricane Charley hit Florida hard by providing families with a safe area to come enjoy themselves during difficult times.
The neighborhood is also holding a holiday celebration on December 12th for those who are still looking to make Christmas memories with their friends and family. There will be an arts and crafts area, live music, pony rides, Santa Claus and other children’s activities offered as well. This event was created in 2009 by one of the residents who wanted to provide kids with a fun place to celebrate the holidays after his wife passed away from cancer.
