This park is located at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. The beach here is called the Gulf Beach, because it rests on a portion of the Gulf. Children can also enjoy taking a lily pad walk around the beach.

The Gardens by the Bay is another fun park that allows visitors to swim and relax by the water. The beach here has soft sand. While on your visit to Sarasota, don’t forget to check out the City of Sunrise by the Gulf. This waterfront park is a few blocks from the City’s downtown and is open all day and night. At this park, you’ll get to witness the bright waves rolling in as well as a variety of marine wildlife. The park also offers great picnics and camping opportunities.

If you are traveling with children, then be sure to check out the beaches at Discovery World. This park has a great selection of rides for children of all ages. There is even a very large petting zoo where you can feed your pet monkeys, dogs, horses, and other animals. Your kids will love all of the interactive exhibits and games available at Discovery World. This park also offers water playgrounds, swimming, laser tag, and other games that your children can participate in while enjoying the beaches and attractions in Sarasota.
