Largo Florida is the second largest city in Hillsborough County, Florida, and the sixth largest in the Tampa area. As of the 2020 Census, Largo had a population of 75,913, up from 70,814 in 2020. Some of the largest concentrations of these groups are located in Largo’s downtown. Largo also has a higher proportion of low-income families compared to other cities in Florida. Largo has a growing number of well-educated citizens, which is most apparent in the Largo University. The Largo City Council has been trying to create a plan that would help Largo attract and retain a stable and prosperous middle class.
