Metro West is a neighborhood in Orlando, Florida. It borders the neighborhoods of Baldwin Park and Pine Hills to the north, College Park to the east, Lockhart to the south, and Metro East across an un-named waterway. This area was developed by Novare Group with home prices averaging between $150 – 220k. The newest development on this sector will be called “The Vistas at MetroWest” which includes single family homes priced from under $200K up through million dollar residences.
The area is a diverse neighborhood with residents of different ethnic backgrounds including African-American, Caucasian, Asian and Hispanic inhabitants. The community has undergone major improvements in recent years such as the expansion of Lake Baldwin Park to include new recreational facilities for everyone from walkers to bikers alike. Metro West also includes several schools like Pine Hills Elementary School at Rosser Road or Western Branch Middle Magnet School on Amsler Drive which serve students pre K through eighth grade respectively.
