It is situated near the Passaic River and its borders on the north and east and west are those of the Hudson River. The city is also the home of many banks, financial institutions, and manufacturing corporations.

As the years went by, the city was developed further and now it is one of the most thriving cities in Essex County.

The city’s schools include the St. Joseph’s College and the Catholic Preparatory School. A number of popular restaurants and shopping areas are located in the city, making it an ideal place to live.
