Caloosahatchee is a residential neighborhood in the western part of Cape Coral. The homes are mostly one story with lawns and driveways, but some taller three-story condos can also be found on this side of town.

The preserve features one of the county’s few remaining stands of old growth lowland hardwood forest. Hiking trails are popular during hunting season in November because they provide excellent opportunities for bird watching.
*Cape Coral Beach – This beach is a beautiful white sand shoreline with emerald green water! You can swim or fish on this barrier island which offers plenty of parking spaces near its sandy shores plus there are bathrooms available at the entrance to the public beaches.
