Sandy Hill is a neighborhood in Paterson, NJ. The area is known for its quaint and historic homes. It also has some of the best restaurants around including Crabby Joe’s which offers seafood specials on Wednesdays.
If you’re looking to get out at night there are two great bars with music venues that offer live entertainment: Rancho Grande where they have jazz seven nights per week and El Storico Bar & Lounge which features Latin Jazz every Thursday through Sunday, often times with big-name headliners like Tito Puente Jr., Jimmy Bosch or George Benson who will be performing this Saturday April 16th!
If you’re in the mood for something a little more active, there are also two great parks to explore: Sandy Hill Park which has an impressive view and is extremely popular with dog owners. And even though it’s not quite as well known a park, Prospect Park offers plenty of bicycle trails through its seven acres of land thanks to funding from Paterson Land Trust (PALT) .
Alternatively if your looking for some peace and quiet there are many beautiful churches like St. Margaret Mary Church – A Roman Catholic Church where services take place every Sunday at 12 noon or The Holy Name of Jesus Parish- An Episcopal church that hosts dozens of different types of worship groups each week including their famed Irish choir who will be performing on March 31st.
