Totowa NJ is a town and community located in the city of Newark. It is part of the City of Newark in Essex County, New Jersey. Totowa is an incorporated town in Passaic County, in which it serves as the seat of municipal government for its town and community of Totowa. As of the 2020 United States Census, Totowa’s population was 10,637, representing an increase of 1,539 from the 10,086 counted in the last census, which went by the name of Newark-Wickliffe.
