The Village of Entrada is a neighborhood in Cape Coral, Florida. It was created by the community as an innovative way to create permanent affordable housing for seniors and people with disabilities who are experiencing homelessness or those at risk of being homeless. The area has been designed to be a welcoming urban village that fosters social interaction while promoting economic self-sufficiency through employment opportunities and rental assistance programs.
Village of Entrada provides “sticker shock free” living options: no monthly mortgage payments, utilities, maintenance costs or required home equity requirements – all residents pay rent on a sliding scale based on their income level. With 30 homes available across four phases expected to open between 2020 and 2021, there’s opportunity to help make the Village of Entrada a reality.
