Wyoma is a neighborhood in Lynn, Massachusetts. The name Wyoma comes from the Native American word for “small water”.
It was annexed into the City of Lynn on September 16, 1852 and has been an industrial area since its beginnings. Recently though there have been new housing developments being built which are consistent with low-cost living options as part of New Urbanism Designs to create better neighborhoods that promote sustainability and walkability. This includes green building practices like solar energy panels and rainwater harvesting systems for watering gardens or car washing.
